Week 2 Reading Anthology

The story of the Foolish, Timid Rabbit really grabbed my attention because of how similar it sounded. There are many versions of this story presented throughout history that all have a similar message- don't blindly follow the lead of others. As the animals joined the rabbit on his run from the world breaking up I was immediately reminded of the famous phrase- if your friends jumped off a bridge would you? The moral of this story and all those similar to it is to not just conform to the norm but rather blaze your own path and be an independent thinker (such as the lion).
