 I decided to read the following two articles-

The Trouble with "Amazing": Giving Praise that Matters

These articles talk about how we can best give feedback to others so that a growth mindset is fostered in that individual. The article about giving praise that matters tells us to give specific praise and not just shower people in generic compliments that only serve to reinforce a fixed mindset. As a psychology major, I have learned about the growth and fixed mindset quite a bit and find its applications quite fascinating. It is important to not condition people to compliments but instead actually help them grow by giving them specific feedback.

Telling people "Good Job" time and time again may not be the best way to praise them/help them get better.
